ONE Platform: Structured Notes
New Customer Guide
ONE as platform for many products
ONE is a documents’ generation and filling application for structured products for the automatic creation and regulatory filing of legal and regulatory documents.
ONE:Structured Notes is a documents’ generation and filling application for structured products for the automatic creation and regulatory filing of legal and regulatory documents. In addition to Security Notes it supports Fact sheets as well.
Templates
Actually, our platform uses a template-driven approach, so first of all new customers need to collect various types of documents and then send it to us. Using the examples, we’ll design the new templates and appropriate input data files (also known as JSONs).
For J.P.Morgan, HSBC, UBS, Morgan Stalney we already have developed the couple of the templates as an examples.
Integration API
Now, customer needs integration with our API, to push the requests for the new document to be managed, as follows:
- Integration API
- Integration API: Getting started
- Postman “Integration API: Getting Started”.
- Swagger for integration API.
By the way, it is really easy to integrate with the API (unless the customer needs non-standard requests; in this case we’ll need to adapt the API to his needs).
Data feed
Next, the customer needs the data feed with indices, like Bloomberg or Morningstar. We already have support for the free feeds but it might be a little bit difficult to use it in production, so we strongly recommend using commercial-grade data feeds.
Bloomberg is already incorporated, so all we need is the customer’ API key to let it work immediately.
[optional] Workflow optimizations
Our existing workflow is adopted to the typical activity with operational staff, with lawyers from the 3rd company, and for the management. But if a customer needs extra steps, extra verifications, extra roles and reports we can add it easily, even without programming. We’re using BPMN-based visual notation for the workflow so even experienced users are able to manage with.
[optional] Litera Server
As an option, we can provide integration with the Litera Server for documents’ comparison. In this case, we need access to the existing installation of the Litera Server (or license for dedicated Litera Server if available, or other options).
[optional] Filing
We have an embedded and fully automated filing process for the SEC.gov, including both FWP and 424b2 documents, with addendums. Our founder is a licensed filing agent, so all filings are official; so we need just a company filing number to use.
But in case you need to use another filing agent or agency, we are either able to configure our service to use proper credentials, or let the external agent fill in himself. In this case we're generating packages compatible with GoFiler.
Bug tracker
We strongly recommend using a bug tracker system to manage all issues, support and feature requests in one place. The preferable solution might be the cloud-based vendor like BitBucket, GitHub, or Assembla.
From our side, we’ll organize regular access to the development team directly, without several layers of support. So all customer requests will be managed fast and transparently.
Users and roles
And last but not least, we need a list of users and roles (with real emails) to everyone who will participate to work with our platform. We’ll organize access to the system according to the roles.
The same users will be added to the bug tracker to let everyone ask for questions.
In addition, we can organize extra communication channels like messengers (Skype, Telegram etc) and email, but we apologize it are additional channels to the bug tracker.
Training
For our platform, we have video lessons available. But if it is necessary, we can organize extra demos and/or training courses for the customer personnel.
The Quick Start HOWTO is available as well.
